Curt Harris: President

Meet Curt Harris

As President of the Madison Area Youth Soccer Association, I’m proud to help guide the club that has become a big part of my family’s life since 2019. My three sons, Curtis, Caleb, and Cade, play across various age groups, and my wife, Nicole, has contributed greatly as a team manager and the club’s first Director of Team Managers.

I joined the board in 2020 and became president in 2022, and while I didn’t grow up playing soccer, the sport has quickly become a deep passion. My focus is to grow the game across the Madison area, promote both competitiveness and sportsmanship, work with our coaches to help players develop their full potential, and bring lasting success to our community.

Lizy Tenorio: Vice President

Meet Lizy Tenorio

I have been a driving force within the MAYSA family for over 12 years, serving in leadership roles from Team Manager to President, and now as Vice President and Community Liaison. I have played an active role in fundraising, marketing, and social media, helping elevate the club’s presence and build meaningful connections throughout Morgan County.

My entire family is involved with MAYSA across Academy, Select, and Adult League programs, and I have proudly graduated one son who completed his full soccer journey with MAYSA. I have experienced the club at every level, and that perspective has fueled my belief that something truly special is being built locally.

More than just supporting soccer operations, I am passionate about cultivating a strong, inclusive soccer community where families feel welcomed, players feel valued, and partnerships extend beyond the field. My heart for service and commitment to growth continue to help shape MAYSA into a place that feels like home for so many.

Tisha Cepuran: Treasurer

Meet Tisha Cepuran

I serve as the Treasurer for MAYSA, a role I assumed in May 2024. I previously served on the MAYSA board in 2019 and have been actively involved with the organization for many years through my family. My oldest son played with MAYSA from 2018 to 2020, and my youngest son has been playing since 2023.

With a background in accounting, I am committed to responsible financial management and supporting MAYSA’s mission of providing a positive, well-organized youth sports experience for local families. I’m proud to give back to an organization that has played an important role in my family’s life and in the development of young athletes in our community.

Kacey Young: Secretary

Meet Kacey Young

As Secretary for the Board and Team Manager for two teams, I have brought a high level of diligence and organizational expertise to the heart of our club since 2023. I have two sons who are currently developing their skills in our program. My commitment is deeply personal.

Beyond managing schedules and administrative duties, my primary goal is to foster a culture of sustainable growth, not just for the club’s infrastructure, but for every individual player who steps onto the pitch. I am a firm believer in the power of youth sports to build character and am dedicated to ensuring our club remains a cornerstone of excellence in our community.

Scott Redding: Director of Coaching

Meet Scott Redding

As Director of Coaching, I support the club's trajectory by providing practical connections between its vision and the development of its athletes. My insights into programming, growth opportunities, and the game's overall landscape help establish a club that fully prepares its players for success. I also bring an elite level of experience, passion, and leadership to MAYSA as a Head Coach for multiple MAYSA teams.

Meg Weldon: Volunteer Director

Meet Meg Weldon

Hi, I’m Meg Weldon, and I've proudly served as a board member since 2024. I’m a mom of three and very involved in youth sports, both as a parent and an advocate for positive, well-run programs. My son Levi has been involved with MAYSA since he was 10, and being part of this organization allows me to support not only him, but all of our athletes as they grow both on and off the field. I’m passionate about teamwork, sportsmanship, and creating a positive, well-organized environment where players can develop their skills and confidence. I look forward to working alongside the coaches, families, and fellow board members to help make this a successful and rewarding season for everyone.

Marc Takacs: Community Engagement Director

Meet Marc Takacs

Youth Soccer has been part of my life since I can remember. My dad essentially established the sport in our small town in Ohio. Starting the Youth Recreational league and then establishing the High School and club programs. That basically meant I was voluntold to do everything, from coaching and refereeing to running concessions and scheduling. And of course, playing as much as humanly possible.

My experience as a business owner and in helping to run non-profits for many years gives me some insight into how to tackle the challenges posed by MAYSA's growth and potential. The importance of youth sports to our community and the opportunity for these kids to have an amazing experience that also fosters their growth into the best adults they can be is exciting to me. This club, realizing its full potential, is my ultimate goal.

Ashley Johns: Fundraising Director

Meet Ashley Johns

As Fundraising Chair of the Madison Area Youth Soccer Association, I am honored to support a club that has become such an important part of my family’s life. Community sports have shaped me for years. I grew up playing many sports in Morgan County, where I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, and community support.

Soccer became especially meaningful to our family when my daughter discovered her love for the game at just five years old, starting out on a MAYSA coed team. Over the years, that early excitement has grown into a true passion, and she now proudly plays on the 12U girls team. Watching her development, both as a player and teammate, has deepened my appreciation for the impact youth sports programs can have on children and families, both socially and athletically.

I am married to Clint Johns, and we have two children, ChaCha (11) and Harris (9). As Fundraising Chair, my goal is to help provide the resources and opportunities our players need to grow, compete, and thrive while continuing to strengthen the sense of community that makes this club so special.
